Every single human being on this planet began their existence in the dark. The womb is a place of total, absolute, and complete darkness. There is no light in there. There are no windows. There are no candles. There is only the warm, mysterious, sacred darkness where life is knit together.

Think about that for a moment.

Before you ever saw the sun, before you ever opened your eyes, before you ever knew what light was, you were formed in the darkness. Your heart began to beat in the dark. Your fingers and toes took shape in the dark. Your brain, your lungs, your entire being came into existence in the dark.

This is a fair point. There is a lot of vague, mystical talk about energy, vibrations, and frequencies that sounds profound but has no basis in reality. It is important to distinguish between genuine spiritual insight and New Age fluff.

But let us also be honest. Science itself has shown us that darkness is not empty. It is not nothing. It is filled with invisible forces. Gravity works in the dark. Magnetism works in the dark. The electromagnetic spectrum is full of frequencies that our eyes cannot see. Dark matter, dark energy, things we do not fully understand, make up most of the universe.

So, when we talk about darkness having power, we are not necessarily being unscientific. We are acknowledging that there is more to reality than what our eyes can perceive. We are acknowledging that the visible world is only a small fraction of what exists.
